I figured since no one has posted these links here, I might as well do it.
Thanks to Fernin for introducing me to LibriVox, the greatest source of knowledge ever.

Project Gutenburg This website has collections of many texts, mostly classics and pre 20th century stuff. Lots of good reads here. They also offer some audiobook recordings and other stuff.
LibriVox This website offers tons of human read audiobooks all of which are in the public domain. I've found both of these sites to be a wealth of information. Check them out if you like to read.

Oh I love Project G. Its one of my most oft-used bookmarks.

Librivox, on the other hand, I have never heard of. As much as I love audiobooks, I tend to be really picky about the voice (and, frankly, acting ability) of the person reading it. I see them more like performances than books.

That said, I'm looking forward to checking it out. You never know when or where the next great book of your life will come around. Smile

Thanks for those links docinsano. LibriVox is pretty cool.

I like free stuff, especially when said free stuff is legal. I already knew about gutenburg, but I'll check out LibriVox, it sounds pretty interesting.

I love LibriVox. I can't wait to go through The Prince and become this generation's world dictator.

Or at least its biggest asshole.

Indeed. I am finding LibriVox to be easier for me to get into reading than straight up reading a page. If I read along with the poem/book, it's doubly enhanced, seeing the structure and hearing the words just puts everything more into perspective for me.
