I know the industry in a slump and everyone chastises Hollywood for making sequels and remakes to thinks we just have to over.
Nonetheless, Snake Plissken is Snake fucking Plissken. I enjoyed the comics and all, but it's time for more Snake... no matter what age Russell is

I know Carpenter has wanted to do this for years, but after the disappointing numbers that Escape From LA brought in, the studio wasn't interested. I would love to see this happen, but I wouldn't hold my breath. We were promised Mad Max: Fury Road like 4 years ago and that hasn't happened yet.

When was filming a movie in Afghanistan ever a good idea? I can't think of any logical time since the 80's when doing anything there is or was logical.
