Anyone here have a mod for an airsoft gun that could convert cock-action to semiauto? My idea was to make it so when you pull the trigger, the slide will automatically cock itself.

I think you would be better off just buying a gas blow back pistol. The problem with single shot, manual cocking guns is they use a spring to fire the rounds, and when you cock it, you are compressing said spring. The only way to make it auto cock, would be to use another spring that would slide the lock. And, due to the laws of physics, you can't make 2 springs engage one another without losing power each time.
There are some excellent Gas guns, which can be had for under $100.

If it wasn't for the orange ring on the barrel, you'd be hard pressed to guess if it was fake or not. Full working slide, removable clip, and cocking hammer. Also, it's almost all metal. Has a great weight and everything.
I wear it as a side arm on a thigh holster when I play paintball. It's a great backup when I have to reload my other baby:
Tippman A5 with M4 Retractable Stock, 16" Sniper Barrel, and remote feed system.

Knyte: You know, I kinda want an airsoft gun based off of the FN P90. I don't know why I like that gun, though. Probably because it was one of my favorite weapons from Goldeneye 007.
I kinda want this one, but it's pretty damn expensive.

The Sniper Rifle is a waste of money IMO because at 300FPS, there's really no need for the scope, it won't stay accurate past say 20-30 Yards max.
Why airsoft? Why not just get a pellet gun? Unless it's specifically for paintball I wouldn't bother with it, I bought a .357 Crossman Pellet Repeater, 10 round clip uses little CO2 tankes up to 480FPS(more routinely around 300-380 probably) for 80$ CDN.
I had and took back a crossman BB gun that was really cool, almost all metal came with a clip, the CO2 concealed nicely in the handles, full blowback with a 17 round clip. The reason I took it back is because it was only for BBs and only did something like 380FPS max, I figured I'd get something that packs more of a punch or significantly less money.

I like to go for realism over performance. I would rather have an airsoft gun that looks real and has the same specs as the real thing. If a real assualt rifle hold 30 rounds in the clip, then I am only going to put 30 rounds in the airsoft clip.
Also, there are aftermarket springs for the PSG-1, that can kick up the FPS to over 600 FPS, which makes it dangerous at short range, but perfect for (Airsoft) long range.

I'd love to get an airsoft FAMAS. I loved that gun in Metal Gear Solid.
