I am currently experiencing problems loading the Alexa.com page.

When I load the page on most computers, it looks like this:

For the last two weeks or so, it has loaded like THIS on my computer:

I have tried loading the page in both IE and Firefox and it loads the same way in both. I also get the following errors:

LINE 66: JSAll is not defined
LINE 0: Expected ':' but found '='. Declaration dropped.
LINE 0: Error: Error in parsing value for property 'CURSOR'. Declaration dropped.

Any idea what I could do to fix this? So far here is what I have tried: Since these seem to be JavaScript errors, I checked to see if I was running a different version of Java than my sister. I was. I was running JRE 1.5.7 and she was running Java 2 v.1.4.2. I uninstalled Java and installed the newer version. However, Alexa still won't load properly for me. I tried contacting Alexa about it, but I have yet to receive a reply.

hmm I put my IT support pants for the morning...

-empty your Internet Temp Files
-empty you Computer temp file (%temp% and %windir%\temp (type those line in run command)
-you have a newer version of java so Exclamation

-only use firefox cause IE have serious critical security error
-lower you internet security

-do you use a firewall ?
-do you use an anti-virus program
-do you use an anti-spyware ?
-see if you didn't have some spyware shit on your computer ( i see that you use alexa search bar on your IE ( i dont recommand those kind of 'search bar' cause its always causing problem)
-..

Done.

Done.

It wasn't working with the older one either.

-do you use a firewall ?
No, it messes with my P2P.

-do you use an anti-virus program?
Yes, Grisoft AVG

-do you use an anti-spyware ?
Yes, Ad-Aware

-see if you didn't have some spyware shit on your computer
Just Alexa Toolbar, which has stopped working properly for me along with the website. I have to keep telling Ad-Aware not to delete it.

I have not changed my web behavior in any significant way over the last weeks.... I have no idea what happened.

Hmmm... My Firefox was already set to that. The fact that I am suddenly experiencing this problem in both IE and FF makes me think it is a software problem and not a settings problem. I must be missing some sort of plug-in or something.

You really should get a firewall Syd. I know with Norton, you can set it to give access to the internet to your P2P program. That way it doesn't bother all the time asking for permission to access the web, or screw up the program. That's what I do with Kazaa.

I finally found the problem... Alexa was blocked in my Windows HOSTS file.
