Does anybody remember this arcade game? It was one of the weirdest, oddest, but funnest arcade games I played years ago. It's pretty much all but gone now, but I still has some memories on the two-bodied freaks, acid, and the random, helpless women.

It was a Midway game, if I recall. I remember watching the attract mode cutscene and being like "Damn, I have to try that." I played the Slay Ride level, which had a Christmas theme. It was violent, silly, and awesome.

I swear, the version I played was as rigged as a real carnival game.

Fun, but a friggin' quarter black hole.

Agreed, I remember the level Syd played pretty distinctly. The boss of it (Santa Claws) freaking destroyed quarters.

At first, I thought this was a misplaced thread about the song Carnevil by ELP. Unfortunately, my arcade game knowledge is quite limited, so I know not the game of which you are talking. If I ever get a MAME emulator though, I'll be sure to keep this game in mind, as it sounds plusgood.

This is CarnEvil.
(From the above link) This sums up the majority of the stuff you'll see:

EDIT: Looking through some CarnEvil stuff, the "Santa Claws" boss' true name is Krampus, which might have something to do with this.

Wait, isn't it the Krampus that whips Dr. Venture with a switch and dry humps him in "A Very Venture Christmas?" I was wondering if they just made that up or if it really was a part of folklore.

I once saw it at a Peter Piper Pizza. It sure has the feeling of a U.S. videogame.
