I clearly missed the controversy with "Smash Bros." I guess that's just as well. But I had absolutely never heard of "Devil World", and now I see why. Perhaps most surprising to me is the lack of an ending. Hell, "Donkey Kong" has an ending before it makes you start over.

Truly, it looks like the illegitimate lovechild of Taito and Namco from the early 80s.

Great review, Syd. I now know as much about "Devil World" as I'll ever want to, since I certainly have no desire to play it. And kudos for playing it long enough to get all that info.

Well Devil World is Nintendo and is considered to be closer to Yoshi. As we all know

"WE AMERICANS ARE DUMB DUMB AND CAN'T UNDERSTAND JIPANG STUFF"

So they canned it not for the that reason alone but the fact it had

"Devil In The Name"

They also did it to Ice Climber and that mini Snow Monster Topi was really a ice throwing Seal named Topi

You could almost call it Seal Smasher/Climbers

Yup it's a horrific life living in America where you have to choose between Good Medicine and Fast unwatched internet and getting everything early and living healty.

Um, what? I know some people consider Tamagon to be an early ancestor of Yoshi, but Kirby? Since that doesn't make a lick of sense, I contend that you just made it up.
