So I was talking with Syd about an idea we could do together, then decided it would be my project so I'll have new content every week, if anyone out there is interested. What is the idea you ask? I have one word for you: podcast. Needless to say however, I haven't worked out any details yet, so I have a couple questions:
1. Is this something anyone would be interested in?
2. What sort of topics would you liked discussed?

If there's enough interest for me to go through with it, I will also read and answer (assuming it's a question) listening mail each week, so if you want to hear your words on faux radio, send them to dr_jeebus@sydlexia.com

weekly stuff would be good. But, not with podcasts. Do it some other way.
I dunno, with wacky pics, or crappy puns or something.

Consarnit, don't ask me.

I'm not hip with this new lingo. What's a podcast? Is it like internet radio? If so it would neat if we could send Jeebus segments to play. Maybe.

I don't know how plausible this may be, but it would be interesting if people from the forum or something could call in and there could be a round table discussion about whatever. I know the idea is most likely over the top, all arm wrestling for custody jokes aside, but it would be really neat and give a good sense of interaction with the site.

RIP Hacker.

I was trying to figure out if there's any plausible way to have people call in. So far the best I can come up with is to just let people know when I'd be taping so they could call me and I'd put my cell on speaker phone...thing is, I don't even know if it has speaker phone.

As for what a podcast is, yeah it's an internet radio show. If you have iTunes, you can subscribe to it and whenever a new episode is released it will automatically download to your computer for you.

#edit: there would also be a download page on the site so you wouldn't need itunes or anything, and despite the name you definately don't need an ipod.
