Press Start Premiere! Volition!
Holy heck this was an ordeal. We were originally going to have the premiere at the same local movie theater where I've premiered several of my previous movies. But at the last minute the guy canceled. I was... well, let's just go with "upset." But I pulled every string I had and managed to conjure up the following:
Press Start will premiere at The Virginia Theatre (much bigger than the other one) in Champaign, IL on Wednesday, October 3 at 7:00pm and is sponsored by Volition, the makers of Saints Row, Red Faction, The Punisher, and several other big name games.
Tebor, I know its a week day but I expect to see you there.

I'd go if I were older and had access to a car.

I will have to drive pretty much straight from Chicago, but I'll try my damnedest.

No worries, I only mentioned Tebor because I know he's close enough. Anyone who orders the DVD when it comes out will probably receive it before the "theatrical premiere" anyway.
Oh, speaking of the DVD, here's what it'll have on it:
- 3 Commentaries (Filmmakers, Cast, Composer)
- Making-Of Featurette
- Original Trailer
- 3 Bonus Levels cartoons
- Dial V for Vile shorts
- Phony Dolls Commercial

I'm working on a pseudo-exclusive new Press Start short for some cohorts -- probably the last live-action PS thing I'll be doing till we get a real budget -- and last night I put together a little promo image... thingie. As the title suggests, it's a survival horror spoof of sorts:
I say "pseudo-exclusive" because it'll probably be on the PS site eventually. It's about 5 minutes long; we shot the whole thing in a night. It's kinda like a live-action "Bonus Levels" episode.

Sounds awesome. Btw, I've show it to several of my friends and, while it took a bit of coaxing to get them to actually watch it, once they did they loved it.
One sad and minor thing I noticed is that whole bit with G. Foreman and Lin-Ku had me thinking he was saying "G4 Man" at first. G4 as in that crap network.

Urg. It's hard to justify paying 7.50 shipping for a $12.99 item (not that it's the seller's fault). Also, I've had that exact amount stolen from my by an evil villain named Lotax whom I thought I could trust. Hm...

Yeah, I apologize for the S&H. Kunaki charges too much for that. But for what it's worth, I've found them to be extremely trustworthy, and I've yet to hear about anyone who hasn't received a copy they ordered.

Seems like a really decent flick that I would enjoy seeing and seems like alot of work was put into it.
It would be awesome if you could get some big backing from a big hollywood studio and do this video game parody stuff similiar to what scary movie does each year.
I saw you Night of the Anubis movie and I thought it was pretty descent.
