Recently there was a war of sorts between eBaumsworld.com and YTMND.com. eBaumsworld is a fairly mediocre site with an incredibly garish layout, but they were not at fault here.

What went down was this:

Someone entered an animation in an eBaumsworld contest as their own and it made its way onto the site. The person who entered it was not the original owner, which sparked the ire of several enterprising YTMND began a cyber-terrorism assault on eBaumsworld. The whole thing was pretty ridiculous and childish, especially since the vast majority of YTMND sites are nothing more than half-assed amalgamations of misappropriated image and sound files. There are some pretty funny YTMNDs, but I have lost a lot of respect for its operators. Not only did they not step up and chastisetheir users, they also publicized e-mails that Neil Bauman sent to them so that their retarded users could mock him.

The internet seems to bring out both the best and the worst in people. Not to mention the stupid. So much stupid flooding the web.

Say what you will, that was some good dramatic reading.
