This thread is now about Super Soakers and knock offs.
I actually had that, but instead of yelling "FIRE" into it like some sperglord, I would just put the mic into my mouth and hum really loud so I'd have a constant stream of water shooting out. I ruled.

I've been wanting to buy a gun, but at the same time I'm sick of spending money.

So, you posted a thread detailing your serious health issues :
Stormtrooper2011 wrote: |
Hey guys, I recently got admitted to the hospital for shortness of breath.
Turns out I have Cardiomyopathy, and no insurance. |
Stormtrooper2011 wrote: |
I'm nearly dead.
I went from an ejection fraction of ~25% to one of less than 15%.
In under two months.
I have had surgery to implant an internal defibrillator.
I'm now on a waiting list for a heart transplant at Tufts medical center in Boston.
All of this on top of congestive heart failure, and cardiomyopathy. |

Update time.
So I now have polycycstic kidney disease, on top of my nonischemic cardiomyopathy.
I've been going to Tufts medical centre in boston to meet the cardiologists and a kidney specialist. |
So... no health insurance, serious health issues and now you just bought a gun? Do you plan on killing yourself? WTF is this retarded post about buying a fucking gun when you are having such issues?

I know how it looks from the outside, but I have access to weapons frequently when I'm on duty.
I have since gotten insurance, and currently getting released to work.
I don't want to alarm you guys

Best I have is an airsoft modeled after some variation of the Beretta 92.

Thanks for the clarification. Given the context of what you had posted prior and what happened here at the end of last year I saw a red flag and just wanted to make sure everything is alright. Carry on.

Leave it to @om*d to assume the worst. I just figured he was going to hold up the hospital like in that movie John Q.

I have to admit that I was also freaked out about Stormtrooper's previous situation segueing into a new gun, so I'm glad you asked, @om*d.
How frequently do you go range shooting, Stormtrooper? It's been about a year since I've gone, but me and my friends typically go skeet shooting with shotguns.

The 90s vibe from this is giving me all sorts of whimsy. Would have definitely bought this if I knew of its existence back in the day.

I still haven't broken in the revolver I got for self defense three years ago or so...and it's my first gun. I just have no time anymore.

Fuck waterguns, where can I buy the sick laser breath that guy on the box has got? I'd pay oodles of cash to be Godzilla for a day.

I'd be worried about Stormtrooper having a gun. He'd hit everything but what he was aiming at.

Not only is that not right, that's not even wrong. It's a meaningless statement. Saying something is "one molecule away" from plastic is like saying a farm is one letter away from a fart. Water is "one molecule away" from being explosive hydrogen gas. |

I did yell "FIRE" into it, and now I realize that I was a sperglord. Thanks, Woodzy.

I had THIS as a kid, and it was pretty much the Alpha and the Omega of super soakers. I remember being able to blast people from 30 feet away with it. It went through its entire water supply in about five seconds, but it was more than worth it.

God, that's more like a fucking water cannon than anything. My brother and I were always stuck with these pieces of complete trash:
Ensemble complete with caps that never stayed on, the worst range ever, and triggers that would break if you squeezed them too hard.
Honestly we didn't bother with the water guns too often, we'd just get regular sized balloons and fill those instead. Hurt like a bitch sometimes if they didn't pop, but it was more fun at least.

Okay, I definitely need to get one of those to harass my neighbors at the pool.

Nice choice on the .40. I have a Sig P229, which is the .40 version of the P229 (9mm). The extra stopping power can make a world of difference in a life or death situation. People don't realize just how small a 9mm round is. And, if you hit a limb or bone, you're just going to piss off the person you shot.

Glock 19 in 9mm most of the time.; I have others, but that's the main one. Also love one particular .22 AR variant. The stock moves back and forth about an inch if you unlock it, so with a little forward pressure on the heat shield and not moving your trigger finger on the first squeeze, you can fire it in full auto. Shit if you're shooting for score, but fun as hell.
