Just like the Marvel one, here's a thread to discuss all of DC's upcoming films. I accidentally started this thread in the Music forum. If someone could merge these, that'd be killer.
So what are your thoughts on the upcoming Batman v Superman movie?
I refuse to watch it unless it's filled with homoerotic undertones.
Shake it, Quake it, Space Kaboom.

Like I said in the other thread, I'm not getting my expectations too high, but I hope it's good. It all seems pointless to me though when the Dark Knight Trilogy was the definitive depiction of Batman in my mind. It can only go down from there.

DC bores the shit out of me. I'm not even a Marvel fan boy but I thought the latest Batman trilogy was decent and a lot of fun but completely not rewatchable at all. I'm just not interested in Batman or Superman, and anything else they try to do will definitely either fail or just not grab people's attention.

Has anyone seen the leaked trailer? Looked pretty good to me. It aping the Dark Knight Returns is a good way to hook my interest, although it seems like it might flip who's resisting whose authority in TDKR's battle between Bats and Supes.

I saw it, and it really didn't grab me. I dunno, maybe a second trailer will pique my interest more, like with Dawn of the Planet of the Apes. But I absolutely appreciate what they're pulling from The Dark Knight Returns.
I am excited for this new Star Wars movie but greatly saddened by the fact that there will be no appearance of Lando Calrissian, the man who truly killed Emperor Palpatine.

Suicide Squad looks fucking retarded. I mean, it really does. If anyone is excited for that, I question your ability to be human.

Yeah, I agree Josh. The only good thing that can come out of that is a movie version of Harley Quinn. The rest of the characters are uninteresting or done poorly.
And while I'm for a new version of the Joker, a tattoed, punk version is a bit surprising.
It's all a very obvious attempt to copy Guardians of the Galaxy's success. I'll see Batman v. Superman out of general interest and that intriguing trailer, but I'm not bothering with Suicide Squad.

I also agree that Suicide Squad looks like it will be a shitty movie at this point in time. I guess I will have to wait and find out.

They released an official cast photo. I think Harley and Killer Croc look pretty good, and Deadshot looks impressively good. I'm really on the fence about it though. I want to like it because I love the series, but ugh.
Even though it's titled as a Batman move, the Dark Knight is really a secondary character through most of the film.

Netflix here I come then. Need to put Batman v. Robin on there too. I own a few cartoon Batman movies like the Dark Knight Returns. They can be good stuff.

I have all of them, and yes, they are usually fantastic. Under The Red Hood is probably my favorite of all the animated movies. Though, Wonder Woman, was really good as well.

Under the Red Hood is definitely very good. They should stick to animated movies IMO.

Yeah, I own that one too. Jensen Ackles does a good voice job. Wish he would stretch his wings more away from Supernatural. Let that show die and do some superhero movies damn it!

Batman vs. Superman looked alright, but Suicide Squad looked kinda shitty. I will have to wait and see.
