BloodStorm
This was the sequel to Time Killers. It was released back in 94' and was trying to grab MK fans attention but it pretty much sucked and had really choppy gameplay and cheesy Fatalities. I first read about it in an old Gamepro magazine and thought it looked fucking awesome, but when I finally sat down and played it (on an emulator) like 11 years later, I was so disappointed. It looked so cool to me as a kid but it just sucks. The moves are way to complicated, the arm-leg-head system is dumb, the Fatalities are hard and everything kind of seems random and thrown together in a hurry. It could have been good I think, had the designers spent more time on the actual gameplay rather than throwing in secret levels, more blood and other nonsense that is really just there to try and shock you (as if MK didn't already do that). I think someone should re-make this fucking thing and make it good! The characters and origins are kind of cool and to be honest, if they started releasing action figures based on the BloodStorm characters, I would buy them all up in a heartbeat. What are your thoughts?? Anyone ever play this shit?
