Yeah, it's seems more like a malt or something. You're better off with cider instead of Redd's. Just thought I'd try it for the hell of it while buying a lotto ticket, even though I knew it would be trash. I tell ya, the cashier gave me a weird look when she saw the "beer", heh.

Now, if you want beer that tastes like strawberries and is actually still gaoddman beer, I can't recommend Abita's Wild Strawberry enough

Cool, I'll look for it at my next trip to Binny's. Haven't been there in a while, and have been meaning to go.

Beer or no, I admit a fondness with Angry Orchard.

Brooklyn Brown Ale. A favorite of mine. It's a lot hoppier than other browns. It's also pretty malty and very chocolatey. It's a bit like drinking a Whopper, only more bitter, because again, there's a pretty good amount of hops. These are great for cooler weather.

I personally like Blue Moon but the most affortble beer to drink longterm thats cheap to drink at the house is probably Yuengling IMHO.
Best perfect medium bodied beer I have ever had is Indio. Its dirt cheap in Mexico but its much better than Budweiser.

Schlafly Pumpkin Ale. I'm usually not a big fan of Pumpkin Ales, but this is by far my favorite one. Schlafly is a St. Louis brewery, but for reasons I'm unaware of, their pumpkin ale is brewed here in Nashville. It's only available in October and November, but I still had one sitting around in the back of the fridge.
Very full-bodied, it's 8.0% ABV, so you don't need too many. I look forward to it every fall.

I will have to give it a try - Schlafly has struck me as a bit inconsistent, but I do enjoy a good pumpkin ale. I believe I tried Woodchuck's spin on it, and it was decent enough.

Oculto, infused with Blue Agave and aged in tequila barrels.
It tastes a lot like tequila. Not sure I'd drink it again, but it's definitely interesting. Got it as part of a pick-six. If any of the other five prove noteworthy, I'll post about them as well.

Oculto's different. Nice every now and again. Most people I share it with would just prefer tequila though, which is totally fair.
