Beer is always ice cold as far as I know. Why would it be any other temperature?

dont germans drink beer at room temperature? my brothers ex father in law used to drink it that way. something he picked up in germany he would always say

Germans usually store beer in their basement, and don't chill it before they drink it. So it's colder than room temperature, but it's warmer than Americans are used to.
