Total Recall was a movie that came out in 1990 it was a SciFi action film staring Arnold Schwarzenegger, and it fucking ruled. If you never saw it, you need to.

Next summer at about this time a remake will be released starring Colin Farrell.

As more of the cast has been revealed, I have been interested to see how they would redo this as a large budget modern film. I originally hated the idea of it being remade, but Conan looks so much worse that I'm almost rooting for this now.

There's no way it can top the original just on cheesy line repeatability. "Get yo ass to Mahs!"

"You've got waht you ant cohaaaaaagen, nao give theeese peeple air!" Just like that Colin Ferrel must say that line just like that to make it a true remake. If not then, this and Conan can just fuck off.

Or, Dwayne Johnson's Kindergarten Cop
That said, I hate Colin Farrell. He sucks. I hope those brain butchers lobotomize him.

The movie will not feature Mars. INSTA-FAIL: http://movies.about.com/b/2010/07/20/kurt-wimmer-says-no-mars-in-total-recall-remake.htm
Also, it's PG-13.
Also, the script writer's track record SUCKS:
Salt (2010) (writer)
Law Abiding Citizen (2009) (writer)
Street Kings (2008) (writer)
Ultraviolet (2006) (writer/director)
The Recruit (2003) (writer)
Equilibrium (2002) (writer/director)
The Thomas Crown Affair (1999) (writer)

I will just pretend that this is not happening.
They should do Bollywood remakes of all the great Arnold action movies, now that would be awesome.

I do that with the Terminator movies after 3. I totally forgot about Salvation until just now.

Law Abiding Citizen was pretty good. All the other films were "meh" at best though.

Law Abiding Citizen had great potential, but it just petered off & the ending was fucking stupid. the first half was decent, but the second half was just horrible.

I saw this. It was really mediocre. It's just an average action flick. I was bored and yawning quite a bit. Since it's already been mentioned by others, I don't consider these spoilers...
3-boobed hooker... IN!
Mars... OUT
Instead of Mars, Quaid/Houser has to save...
