not being able to upload photos to posts?

Often times I simply put [img]URL[/img] and it shows up as just the URL, even though I copy and paste the direct URL right in there and do it exactly as it says.

If it's a cost thing, it's okay. I just get tired of trying to link photos and they don't go up even when I put it exactly as the little line says to.

If you hotlink images from other sites, I don't think it uses this site's bandwidth.

Make sure that HTML and BBcode are on. Here is an image that points out the obvious:

They're back. Must have been a intermittent issue with my image hosting service of choice.

Imgur, Min.us, and ImageShack are all much more kind.

I don't know what ImageShack uses.
