Above, you'll find an article he wrote on Charlie Sheen. It is the most inane, pretentious piece of crap I've ever read. Post-Empire! Post-Empire! Blah blah blah, Post-Empire! Shut the fuck up, dude. Your books sucked. No one reads your books. Luckily for you, Less Than Zero and American Psycho were both adapted into great movies. So people assume your books must be good because the movies were. Nope. It's amazing how a less than faithful adaptation of a poor novel can become an exceptional movie with the right script and the right stars.

Whats with that charlie sheen hype anyway?
He sniffs cocaine and beats up hookers.
Wow, really an exceptional person. An exceptional asshole if you ask me.
This really makes me sad. Thinking that are people like this are todays paragons.
It also gives me a bad feeling about the backdropping influence of the religions.
Religion might be nothing more then fiction but its fiction that transports true ideals and values.
Things that are gone nowadays.
Sorry for going offtopic, but i had to say this.

The hype is because we're witnessing a guy destroying his ideal life with reckless abandon. He's not in the news because everyone looks up to him and idolizes him; he's in the news because he's a fucking train wreck. A rich, high-profile train wreck. It's fascinating because he's in this strange self-destructive, out-of-control, batshit insane spiral and nobody knows for sure where it's going to end.

there may be some people who might think so but you can't deny that charlie sheen getting more fame means that he'll have more fans. And at least a some of them will idolize him for being a total shitbag.
I even know people who do so and i'am not proud of that fact.

Eh, there are always morons. You can't stop that. Charles Manson has fans and is idolized. That doesn't mean he's becoming idolized by the general public. Sheen isn't either, I don't think. Is he entertaining? Yes. But I don't think many people look up to him.
