This is bad.....really bad. I read about this song being really terrible on yahoo news and i thought "Oh it can't be that bad" oh its worse then i thought. How did she get a record deal? Nobody knows how but she apparently did

The verses of this song remind of Tom's Diner.

Well it's bad...but it doesn't seem particularly worse to me than the rest of the similar tripe out there. Why the especial hate?

Well its Autotuned and i hate music that has Autotune in it, and even with that this song sounds terrible with it. I just think this is what the main stream pop music industry is going too, which blows.

Wow, that line art filter she is under in the beginning makes her look retarded.

"partyin, partyin, fun, fun, fun" With such compelling lyrics, I simply don't know where you are coming from. I think you aren't looking deep enough. Practice your analytical skills on this line: "Yesterday was Thursday. Today it is Friday." Think about it. Seriously.

Ah, for sure. Agreed on both counts.

They shouldn't be standing up in a car on the highway! That's dangerous!
I love that song. The DNA remix at least. Wish I had listened to that instead.

So I actually listened to the video...
every bit past :30 was just bad. There's no rhyme, any type of song structure , I mean yeah it's from a lower-budget entertainment company/label so that's taken into consideration. The video itself was ok, minus the standing while driving on the highway part.
But it's just that song, that song is really bad. She could've have maybe went over it a bit more with someone like a decent producer or something man....
that hurt my teeth. And to add salt to the wound it may be stuck in my head.

Okay... I actually watched the video this time... I assume the man in the video is the head of her label? I can't imagine any other reason for a man to put himself into THIS.

It's like they really let kindergartners write Top 40 hits now! My god, could the lyrics be any worse? The first verse was literally just describing how she wakes up. Maybe if she didn't have the same routine as everyone else (Singing about eating cereal? Really?), it'd be interesting. The production and her voice are garbage, too, but I think that goes without saying.

Here's a way better song that's related to what you said:

That's not even the best Jon LaJoie song. He has so much better stuff.
Apparently the agency that backs her puts out calls for all sorts of 13-18 year olds to do tracks and this one somehow managed to get popular, probably because it's terrible. That said, I can turn on the radio and point to a lot of tracks that sound just as bad. Just wait until they sluttify her more, and she'll be the new Ke$ha.

"Yesterday was Thursday, today is Friday ..... ..... Tomorrow is Saturday and Sunday comes afterwards!"
What the hell? Who let her in the recording studio?
