Why not just pick the total points of the Championship Game? Closest person wins.

Total points is a good one, though again, if the three people involved don't agree, it's not really fair.

Total points sounds good to me; lets hear from the others. I suggest a PM so we don't get some ridiculous Price is Right-style picks.

Make it so.
Slayer hasn't posted for 3 weeks, though.

Sent. Where is ChiSox? Have to give him a 0 by default if he doesn't show. The way things usually work, I know that all this effort will amount to nothing since Oregon will win.

Okay, the final point total is 41
Sarge was way off with his total of 66
ChiSoxFan was close with his guess of 46
Slayer...JUST beat him out with his guess of 37.
Slayer wins the $10 top prize. However, I'm also awarding ChiSoxFan and Sarge a $5 consolation prize. Next time I'll have the tiebreaker in place ahead of time to avoid something like this.
I need e-mail addresses from the three of you. Also, Sarge, this counts as a "win" for double prizes in the NFL contest.
I think this one went over well. Any comments on how to improve next time would be greatly appreciated.

I agree that it went well. All of your football contests have, and again thanks for running them and putting up your own money as prizes. It definitely added something to those meaningless bowl games because I actually had something to root for in some of them.
I like the set up, and don't think you need to change anything. The only difference would be putting in a tiebreaker from the outset, but you already addressed that.
Great job, Satsui, and congrats to those who finished with some prize money.
