Since this is kind of a different sort of contest, I made kind of a different thread. The rules are the same, with one difference: your goal is to pick a losing team each week, instead of a winning one.

Here are the rules copy/pasted for your convenience, with a little bit of find/replace:
Da Rules wrote:
-Each week, you pick one team. Post that pick in this thread. Picks are due by kickoff of the first game that week. Your pick is not final until the kickoff, you may change your mind anytime before then. To enter, post your Week 9 pick. No late entries.
-If the team you picked loses, you're still in. If that team wins, you're eliminated.
-Each week, you MUST pick a different team. You can't pick a team you've already picked in the deadpool, once you use them, you can't go back to them.
-The last person standing wins. If during one week, all remaining players are eliminated, then instead they all remain in the contest. Their picks for that week still cannot be used again.
-No-shows: Anyone who doesn't submit a pick by the deadline will be assigned a random first-place team as their pick. Anyone who misses two weeks in a row is dropped.

I know I said I wouldn't, but I'm throwing up a $10 gift card from Amazon.com again. If it's a tie, it will be split. Winner can also win a double-prize in the Playoff Pick-em.

We're gonna start this at Week 9, which begins on November 7 (I'd love to wait until the bye weeks are over, but meh). Here's a list of the games. There will be no picks for Week 8, so keep that in mind. Also remember that starting on Week 10, there's a Thursday night game, so picks need to be in before it starts.

Good luck to anyone not named Not_Sure.

I would say the Bengals since they fucked me last Deadpool and they have been horrible, but they play the Steelers, and sometimes the Bengals are a whole new team when they play that rival.

So, going with the Cowboys. Sorry SH, but it seems like a safe pick.

I'm taking Tampa Bay to lose at Atlanta, Week 9

I bet the Cowboys are going to play better now, Romo gets stats, but really sucks when it matter.

I don't know if I should compete in another Satsui-run competition. So far I've finished second every freaking time.

Naw, I'm in. Won't have my pick until after next week at least.

Picking Detroit for now, I'm not very confident about any pick yet.

Sorry, but I'm too depressed to participate in anything involving the NFL right now, especially losing teams. Crying

You could always pick the Cowboys for an auto advance to round 2! I know, I'm evil.

Yeah, I'll have my pick in closer to Sunday. Need to get my WOPR working overtime to help me figure out a perfect plan of attack to beat the robot.

I'm taking the Cowboys.

Could you clarify the rules on a tie? Does a tie mean you're out since the team you picked didn't lose?

If your team ties, you advance.

Thank you, fucking Cleveland.

Once the Cowboys/GB game ends, you can submit your Week 10 picks.

See how the next sentence is in bold? That means it's important.

Since the first game of the week is on Thursday at 8:20 EST, all picks needs to be in by then. No excuses, no exceptions, no "Awww, that's not fair, I don't actually read things". You are warned.
