Agreed. This show is bad and Alton Brown is annoying as are the American Iron Chefs. Bobby Flay is one of the biggest douchebags in the cooking world, and they even have a female Iron Chef. Female? Come on.
Give me the real Iron Chef anyday where I can hear "Fukui-san!" every 10 seconds and watch Japanese actresses coo in approval to the use of squid ink.

I just remembered the Iron Chef America is related to the Chairman from the original show. He's also been on a few eps of Stargate, not sure if it was Atlantis or SG-1.
