I don't want to grow up, I'm a Toys' R Us kid, there's a million toys at Toys 'R Us that I can play with! More bikes, more trains, more video games, it's the biggest toy store there is! I don't want to grow, because then if I did, I wouldn't be a Toys 'R Us kid!

I went into a Toys R Us the other day to ask for a job.

Looked weird. Not enough Legos.

I always found Toys R Us to be over priced, even as a kid I wouldn't spend my money there.

I went to Toys R Us maybe 4 times in my life. When I did it was like an orgasim in my eyes. I would go from row to row saying "I want this, NO THIS, NOOOOOO THIIIIIIIISSSSS! Mom can we get this?" "No were shopping for your cousin." This wass the equivalent to Blue Balls.

I used to go there for my Nintendo needs as they were especially Nintendo Based.

i admit i went probably a lot more than most kids because my grandparents spoiled me when they had shared custody of my twin sister and i. the one closest to levittown pa (not sure where it was exactly) was the one we always went to and they had a huge wall of nes stuff

AH, Toys 'R' Us. Such a magical place of child-like magic. I bought Zombies At My Neighbors, Super Mario RPG and Kirby's Super Star there all in the same day...

Sadly, it seems to have changed for the worse. Maybe its just my nostalgic curmudgeoness, but none of the toys seems as cool as they where just 15 years ago. Also, my Toys 'R' Us moved their video game isle. There was nothing like looking up at two tall shelves past my reach making a wall of SNES games.

I work at Toys R Us, and it is nothing like that at all.

I remember in my day when action figures were $4.95 plus tax.

Nowadays, the only time I've gone in to a TRU were for Pokemon downloads or, when I had the money to do it, work on completing my Transformers Animated collection.

I totally forgot about Kiddie City. I bought Jungle Hunt for my 2600 from there.

Toys R Us was bittersweet for me. Yeah, the store ruled, but my parents never bought me anything from there. The only time I got to go was with friends when their parents brought us. I had to look at all the awesome crap and leave with nothing. Although, I remember seeing NES R.O.B. for the first time at Toys R Us.

Is it just my Toys R Us where all the women that work there are smoking hot? Or is it like a staffing requirement?

thats how it was for me as well. everything was too expensive, so i would hardly ever get anything.

depends on the one youre in. the one i worked at briefly didnt but it had those lego sets with the cd roms and the remote controls in them. you would be amazed at how many ps1 games you could fit in those. also amazing is how easy it is to ferry four palettes of dreamcasts out to a waiting car if youre unloading the truck

There are a lot of hot ones. Unfortunately, most of them are 16-18.

The problem is I'm 26 and even though 18 might be legal, it's still frowned upon when you're eight years older than your potential dating material.

And not to counter my own point, but one of the 18 year old ones I work with was on register when I was buying Transformers Blackout, and when I said they were for me when she asked, she said "Even cooler." So you never know I guess is the moral?

It's like fine art though, for the life of me I would never think of actually buying a piece, they are still fun to go and look at Twisted Evil

I'm bad at casual sex. I'm like from the 50's, ideally we're going steady before we get to fucking.

I'm in the same boat, casual is too awkward and emotionless for me.
