I've been looking online for some time now and have been unable to figure out what this game is... All I can recall about it is that there was a battery-powered car thing that constantly went around the board on a set course. If you weren't careful, the car could drive through a space you were on, scoop up your player token, and carry it away.
Sorry about the vague description, the last time I ever played the game was when I was five or so Razz

i might aswell hijack this post and ask for my own request the game was popular but i was like 10 so my description of it will blow but here goes.

the board itsself was massive i guess it was the interior of a castle or dungeon. and the pieces that came with it well there was shitloads mostly of walls and weaponstands and doorways. heaps of enemy pieces goblins your typical fantasy creatures and took like hours to set up and play.

im pretty sure the name battle was in the title somewhere.

Edit. turns out its called heroes quest

I'm pretty sure everyone here could've told you Hero Quest. In fact, I just bought dice from it a week ago! As for the game from the OP, sounds familiar but I never played it, only saw commericals; I'd check what Syd said as it sounds familiar.

What was that game that had a floor map and tons of plastic castles and armies and catapults and shit? Me and my dad played that for a while when I was a kid.

*note I looked at images of Hero Quest and the game I'm thinking of is most assuredly not Hero Quest, HQ looks dungeoney and the game I'm trying to remember seemed more siege warfare style *

I'm gonna guess its either Crossbows & Catapults or Battle Masters...

I've got a complete version of Battle Masters that I still break out from time to time. There's not much to the gameplay but the map is huge and the pieces are pretty cool so its still fun.

My money's on Battle Masters. That game was a lot of fun, except you needed a dedicated space for the 6' x 6' hex map.

Could've also been Siege, but that didn't really have a map as much as it did map pieces.

Ah thanks for the input, after perusing the images it was indeed Battle Masters.
