I used to work at a toy store and the most expensive thing I bought was a Solid Snake figure for less than that Chris figure. We were really lucky to get what we did since we were an independent store. Basically I had no objections to paying near $30 for the first run Solid Snake from McFarlane, but I wouldn't pay that or half for Chris Redfield.

Nothing against RE5 but figures these days have to give me more for my $. I remember the Ninja from MGS having a shitload of articulation.

The Vulcan Raven figure was awesome just because it was so heavy. It came with its own stand, ammo barrel and the figure on its own was huge. It also has a cameo in Metal Gear Solid 2, the BB gun firing Vulcan Raven is the real life figure.

I don't get why they make toys for an M-rated game.

Dude, there's a HUGE adult collector market, especially in Japan. Over there, it's bigger than kids buying toys almost.

Got it for $40 like a year and a half ago.

I bought a 12 inch Alice Cooper from Spencers for like ten bucks once. It sang "Welcome to My Nightmare" and was awesome. That's also where I got McFarland's first Ozzy and Rob Zombie figures.
