I'm writing some stuff for class about ghosts, because I think I can relate to the meaningless, repetitive exsistances these spirits have with my own life. So reading a number of ghost stories and accounts I am always creeped out by whether or not they do exist.
I personally do not believe in ghosts, but for some reason that doesn't mean I can't be afraid of them  .

I've never had any ghostly experiences before, so I'm not a believer or a disbeliever yet.
A lot of hard-core ghost believers really seem influenced by the death of a loved one though. I think that most of them are only imagining things because they miss the one they lost so much, and I really doubt any of those people thought twice about ghosts before someone they actually knew died.
That's just my opinion so far. By no means do I want to persuade anyone into thinking my way.

My girlfriend believes in ghosts and both her mom and her, and even I, have had unexplainable things happen in her house. Though I still don't think ghosts exist. (My GF hasn't had anyone close to her die before)

I woke up one morning in my dorm room to a ghostly-blue female looking at me from the side of my bed. Then she walked past the foot of my bed and through the wall. My roommate slept in the bunk above me, and after I told him, he was scared to look over the railing for the rest of semester.

I've never been into anything having to do with ghosts. I do enjoy spirits, but only if imbibed in heavy amounts in short amounts of time, preferably while playing a game like Beirut or Asshole.
