I was walking through Target last night and screeched to a halt when I saw this
Needless to say, I was a little shocked at first since the man is unfortunately very dead. Reading the jacket revealed that this is in fact a completed manuscript found among his things after his death and is a delightful romp in piratical times. I didn't feel like dropping the twenty for it just then, but seeing as how I'm a fan of Crichton and was a bit disappointed by Next, I'll definitely be getting it at some point.
According to Wiki, there's also an unfinished, but apparently still being published (?) techno thriller among his things.

Is this a tech melded with futuristic one? I thought it would be a more historical fiction one, but that's cool, I like when he does that. I loved Timeline.

^ No, my bad--I didn't mean tech like, Timeline tech. I meant tech as in 'historically accurate technical information.' I really should have been more clear--sorry about that.

Yeah, if you go into a darkened bathroom and say his name in a mirror 3 times, he appears and kills you.
EDIT: Wait, shit, that's Biggie Smalls. Never mind.

No, he appears. But he just gives a three hour speech on genetic research and scientific policy and won't leave until he completely finishes.
