Well if you're on some third party site like Blogspot or Blogger, or you have a user blog on Destructoid, you're writing for fun, not professionally, and you don't get any sort of diskspace for upload. When you have you're own site, you hope to be taken seriously, and then you have to follow certain netiquette.

Yes, they directly linked to an image on my site (a big no-no if you're a "professional" site) and used it in one of the lamest articles I've ever read.

It was the same image, it was from the Mega Man robot masters article on here. Basically...Syd just added the words, so the leeched picture can be anything Syd wants to put on there.

Yeah. They didn't put any sort of size attributes on the image, either, so I can literally put whatever I want there. I could make it gigantic if I want.

Still, absolutely epic and deserved.
Let me just say also, I run my own little blogspot, and have never, EVER directly hotlinked an image (well except one animated GIF I used with permission from Syd--he actually ASKED me to hotlink it). I upload all my stuff to photobucket, and link from there. Easy as pie.

I don't understand something, why did they pick your specific image? I image googled Burst Man and sydlexia doesn't come up on the first page.
