Okay, so you know how a forum or post has a different colored icon from one with nothing new? For some reason, that's not showing up for me anymore. I just got back from three days away from the forum and there are tons of new posts but no 'new post' color in any of the icons. And then again I just created a new thread, a couple of people posted in it, but no new icon color. Did I break the forums by coming back or what? I haven't changed browsers or anything. Shocked

Doesn't the site look for cookies to know whether you read a thread when it had x messages or not?

this happens to me when i double click on the 'forums' link

for example, if i click on it once and wait for the page to load, i'll be ok. but if i click on it again while waiting for it to load, the page will load but i wont have any new posts to catch up on

If I leave without checking every thread then the ones I haven't checked will be considered read.

Rydog and username, that happens to me too. And I'll bet that's what it was; I just double clicked without knowing or something.

GP, appreciate the cache clearing tip. That's usually part of my computer maintenance program, but I've been lax of late. Going to go to it now.

Thanks guys!
