Here's the new modular building coming out in March, the Grand Emporium:
There's even a freakin' window washer!
Bottom level
There's a chandelier as well.

I am going to buy it....but so should you!
The only thing I don't like about it, is the color scheme, I would've preferred a darker color...this reminds me too much of a courthouse or something.
The changing area looks a little too weak as well almost like a shower curtain, I would've prefered just an actual walk in area.
And I wish they wouldn't have wasted time with the damn scooter. And even that billboard look a little out of place, unless the building is facing west.

Ha, maybe after I get my motorcycle stuff finished; I'll have more time and more free money, plus you're making me miss legos.

Awesome LEGO Avatar Helicopter
Avatar mania is not going to end soon and this LEGO Helicopter is one tremendous example of it. It looks cool, but something is missing. Oh! Alright, where is the pilot? Without Michelle Rodriguez it’s lifeless. However, you can enjoy the craftsmanship. Here are few images and a video.
I'm just going to tell you right now, it's going to take me a very long time to put together. The pieces are NOT organized in any fashion like the Modular sets, so finding 1 piece out of 5,000 is going to take a long long time. The instruction manual alone is about the size of a college text book, I am not kidding.

Hey Dodds, check out the Goodwill auction site if you like vintage Legos. I have seen some very good deals on there in the past. You have to be patient, but when a vintage set comes up you will probably pay half as much as you would on Ebay.
Too bad lego is not interested in robotech/battletech, because I would totally buy these.

Finally got the Millennium Falcon built. I had a couple days off work, so I was able to get most of it done. Pretty cool set overall, I actually prefer the modular sets to this one, only because the modular sets keep going.
Here it is. Sorry, but I'm not going to take any pictures of the interior, simply because it's incredibly fragile in some areas. Snapping everything in place was hard, like the bottom gun took all the strength I had to push the studs in place, I actually have blisters on my thumbs from pressing so hard.
Another thing I'll note about this set, putting some of the top pieces together takes a lot of patience. Despite the instructions being thick as a text book, there were some places where it didn't elaborate enough for you to know where something went.
Close up of the cockpit. This was actually one of the most difficult things to build, simply because it was so fragile. There were also 3 pieces that I had to put stickers on, and of course...I get nervous while doing it so they're a tad crooked. Also the "windows" were very difficult to sit right because the top part kept trying to come off.
I'm actually quite pissed, I have about 30 extra pieces left over. And while a few of those are put in there as extras, there are others that I somehow missed at some point. However, I very thoroughly put this big fucker together, so the fact I couldn't find where I messed up, it really bothers me. I'm amazed at all the extra vent covers I have, since there's about 100 already on the ship. Actually, there are several flaws I did find and fix and now only have about 8 pieces left.

Dodd, you idiot! You need to resize the pictures when you upload them or they look huge, like they do now!
This is fucking ridiculous. Even zoomed out all the way I can only see one picture
All the pictures look fine to me. It helps having them bigger to see the detail in the falcon but I think it may go against the forum rules.
Good....... Bad......... I'm the guy with the gun

For the record, you could always use html code to make the pics LOOK smaller so they don't stretch the screen, then use a link code to link them to the (much) larger version. Not very difficult, and makes them much easier to browse while still preserving the large detail for people who want to see it. I do that all the time on my blog to keep the pics from being cut off.
Also: fantastic models, guys. Hack, I love the mechs, and the Falcon is absolutely awesome. I assume the little Star Wars figures came with it?
