M.A.S.K.? He-Man? Bravestarr? Inhumanoids? Visionaries? Nope, I got it. "A Michael Bay Production - The California Raisins." Seriously, fuck that guy.

Who likes role-playing games? Me. Way too goddamn much.

The Transformers movies all happened because we let them happen, despite foreknowledge thereof and as to their suckiness. Such needn't be the case here. If enough of us track him down and corner him, we can stop him.

I am hoping the alien remark just turns out to be misinterpreted. Being an 'alian race' meaning simply that they're not human. I hope...

Michael Bay: "Fans need to take a breath, and chill. They have not read the script. Our team is working closely with one of the original creators of Ninja Turtles to help expand and give a more complex back story. Relax, we are including everything that made you become fans in the first place. We are just building a richer world."

And the may be villain = Krang.

A quote from the original live action Mikey, Robbie Rist (@MichaelBay) : "You probably don't know me but I did some voice work on the first set of movies that you are starting to talk about sodomizing."

"I know believing in mutated talking turtles is kinda silly to begin with but am I supposed to be led to believe there are ninjas from another planet? The rape of our childhood memories continues ... "

Teenage Alien Interdimensional Ninja Turtles

Again, I'm hoping it's all taken out of context and shit will be sweet.

Also, I understand people pointing out that Mutant turtles is ridiculous in the first place - but compare it to something you really like and then being remade in some retarded different way. Changing the history of something pisses people off - unless it is Abraham Lincoln killing vampires. That's fucking badass.

Mayb we were a little hasty. Making Krang the villian is definetly something that missed in the Turtle's movies.

For his sake, he better hope he didn't mean alien as in space. Perhaps if people would stop going to see his shitty movies Hollywood would take the hint and flick the little mosquito into Yuma.

I wouldn't say that. Krang was pretty fucking goofy, to be honest. Shredder was pretty realistic in the first movie, especially with the context they'd provided. I mean, I guess that aliens vs. aliens makes sense, but still, it's Michael Bay. Who knows, he might redeem himself for three horrible Transformers movies that still made a fuckton of money because of people with little taste. Also, in the concept art, not sure if it's intentional but Raph looks fucking huge compared to the rest of the Turtles.

He has much more to redeem himself for. GI Joe and Pearl Harbor are both his abominations as well.

In fact Shredder, Beebop and Rocksteady were also extremly goofy in some episodes, so what's the point? Seeing Krang finally in a Turtles movies would be just awesome.

And yeah, raphael is a beast on that concept art. It's only a picture and says nothing on how the movie will turn out, but i have to admit, they look pretty badass.

That's what I thought when I saw the poster for the 2007 movie.

I'm fairly certain that is not concept art for the movie. I think it is just fan art, I found it on a website where some guy said he made it in a fit of nostalgia.

TMNT CO-CREATOR PETER LAIRD ADDRESSES NEW ALIEN ORIGIN
Quote:
"I would actually encourage TMNT fans to swallow the 'chill pill' Mr. Bay recently suggested they take, and wait and see what might come out of this seemingly ill-conceived plan," TMNT co-creator Peter Laird wrote on his blog. "It's possible that with enough truly creative brainpower applied to this idea, it might actually work. I'm not saying it's probable, or even somewhat likely… but it IS possible."

Laird commented on Bay's description of the Turtles being " from an alien race" after receiving numerous requests from TMNT fans to intervene and prevent the upcoming origin overhaul. Unfortunately for devoted followers, Laird is no longer in a position to control the futures of his famous creation, having sold the rights to Nickelodeon in late 2009.

While Laird's comments might dismay fans, the artist explained he's not endorsing the origin tweak per se, but is trying to look for the potential upside. After explaining that for years, he and TMNT co-creator Kevin Eastman tried to come up with a non-creatively bankrupt way to introduce a fifth Turtle to the crew, Laird brought his thoughts back to Bay's "alien" comment. "[T]he reason I say it could be a 'genius' idea is that -- for the first time -- someone has come up with a way to have as many freakin' Turtles as they want. I mean, if the TMNT are actually members of an alien race, there could be a whole PLANET of them!

"Joy."

So there you have it. He's not thrilled about the idea, but he's not discarding it either.

I refer you to my earlier statement, since no one seems to have acknowledged it:

Being cornered creates a perfectly natural feeling of dread. If he had enough of that, he just might swear off this project and any others based on properties from our childhood if we promised not to harm him.

Survival sometimes gives people the notion that they were destined to do what they've set out to do. Take no chances with this one.
