I couldn't agree more. I've never wanted a team to lose a championship more in my life.

So Dallas leads the series 3-2.
So I might be jumping the gun, but I'm going to go ahead and say that Dallas completely and utterly fucks up, and Heat still win the series.

A LOT of people are bitching about how LeBron disappeared, but to be honest, Dirk has done the same thing many times. I wouldn't be surprised if they lost the first game by a last second shot, followed by a complete blowout on Tuesday.
Also congrats to becoming the second highest postwhore on here User.

I dislike LeBron, but its just because of the way he handled leaving Cleveland, not that he actually left. Has anyone ever been to Cleveland? Well if you'd get to play with your friends, live on the beach and get paid and get the fuck out of Cleveland, why the hell not? Other than that, phenomenal ball player. Immensely skilled, and people are roasting him about the Mj comparison like HES THE ONE doing it lol.

I like how everyone compared him, much like Kobe as the "next Jordan".
No one has been like Jordan yet. Kobe is an incredible player, but he isn't always the closer Jordan was. If there was 15 second on the clock and you're down by 2, you know who's getting the ball. Lebron and Kobe just simply don't play like that, despite both being talented, they rely heavily on other people picking up the slack when they need to.
That said, I still have my gut instinct that the Heat will still win. Then they'll cut to a shot of Pat Riley looking all smug, like he's the one who did it. Fuck you Pat!

I like Dallas to win the series in 6. LeBron is a great basketball player, but he does fade away when the stage is biggest at times. Kobe and Jordan have both had quality supporting players when they went on title runs. Both have had assistance to get it done.
Until this year, James was always the closer on his teams, now he rotates with Wade.
I don't like comparing players from different time periods. When Jordan played, there wasn't automatic fouls for driving the lane, you had to earn those 2 points more often. I am often amazed at what is called a foul in the NBA, such as a hip bump, shit like that makes me crazy.

I think the Mavs will win because Nowitzki wants it more. And if the NBA is fixed, isn't that the better story? To see the older team, who are likely on their last shot at a championship, beat the best team money can buy?

No, if it was fixed, then they'd want the most talked about player LeBron to win. Game 5 was all about how he didn't deliver in the 4th, not about how the Mavs came back. And if the Mavs win this series, all the headlines are going to say "what's next for Lebron?" Yes, it's stupid.
I'm of the opinion that games are really only "fixed" when they're close. Like that Lakers/Kings series several years ago...that was complete bullshit. Also back in Jordan's day, I hardly ever recall the refs calling him for anything.

My only complaint is that Nash isn't on this Mavs team.

Good for Dirk. That's about all I can say.

That would have been nice, too.
Let's see what adjustments the Heat make over the summer. I wouldn't expect it, but I wouldn't be surprised either if Bosh was shopped around.

Grats to the Mavs!
The Heat were still the Eastern Champs, I don't see why they would shop one of their better players??? They fell two games short, it was their first season as a team, I imagine they will win one or two titles with their core unit.
They can't fully "fix" a game, but they could sway it a few points easily with the refs. And yeah, the headlines will be "Heat failed" not "Mavs win", which is too bad because they played well.

Other hilarity on DeShawn Stevenson's wiki:

Let's talk some more shit while we're at it!!!
Lebron better get married soon, since it might be his only chance to get a ring.
And the real reason he went to South Beach...

Haha...I wish I could take credit for it.
Even though Dallas isn't my team, they're about as close to it as long as I remember. It's always nice to see someone fresh, especially a guy I legit like such as Dirk, who I consider the greatest all around shooter for his size. Find me another 7 footer who can shoot the 3 ball like he can. Amazing stuff...I just wish Steve was there.

Eh...I don't hate Kidd, but if I could have it my way, this would've been the '03 Mavs with the title.
