As far as the Alow situation goes, I think everyone who hasn't played him yet should get a win. Technically he has forfeited against us.
Heh, good point actually.
He and I talked about it after his post, and he's not technically dropping yet. He'll be busy for another few weeks and then he'll see if he can pick up where he left off. It's likely people will still need to play games then, so he doesn't need to drop...he won't put us behind. We're just going to see how it plays out. If he is unable to play his final three games, then I'll just erase his games from everyone's records.
That said, everyone should have played at least seven games at this point. If you haven't, please contact opponents and figure out possible times to play.
The plan is to start the 8-person tournament in January. Thanks all.
It's been quite a while, so time for an update. We may be starting the tournament soon because I will be dropping people if necessary.
I've seen a lot of people looking for opponents in the IRC lately, but they can't find people.
Soldierhawk and Sehkmaenzo, this goes to you. If I don't hear from either of you that you want to stay in, or don't get a match in the next two days, then I'll have to drop you. Everyone else I see check in periodically.
As I've said before, if you're having a hard time finding an opponent then PM them on the forums for a good time to play.
You can go ahead and drop me, Klimb. Between *cough* my current record and the fact that I just haven't been able to make time to be in IRC at all in the last couple weeks--and since that doesn't look like it's going to change anytime soon--I don't want to hold you all up.

Thanks for responding, Hawk. Sorry to hear you have to drop.
Me too. I was having fun. But between a new job and other obligations, I can't even make D&D on Fridays now.

Well, I hate to do it since he's one of my favorite guys ever, but it's been two days so I have to drop Sehk. I've updated the OP.
We're down to 10 people...9 if we don't include Alow. But fuck that, I'm including him. If he can't complete his match whoever he's paired against just gets an auto-win...no biggie.
So, change of plans. We're starting the tournament. This way, you only have to worry about one match at a time, and that's whoever you're paired against. I'll be posting a tournament bracket shortly.
There will be some play-in games between the lower seeds. Check the schedule in the OP later tonight to see who you play next.
So yeah, congratulations on making the tournament! Yay.
EDIT:
TOURNAMENT GAMES THAT CAN BE PLAYED
Better seed chooses color. In case of a draw, switch colors and play again.
3) Klimbatize vs 6) docinsano
4) lavalarva vs 5) Ghandi
7) Drew Linky vs 8) Alowishus
9) Thunderhorse vs 10) sidewaydriver
I contest that after, about mid-mid game I turned it around and started to mount a decent return attack. He didn't always follow every move I had in mind, but took me out soundly nonetheless.
It was a great game.

doc and I just had a tough match, but I managed to win. Below is an updated bracket. There are four people left, and only one match that can be played.
