I'm so happy to not be watching this series, or the LA/Phoenix series for that matter.
They need to change their motto;
"The NBA, where repetition happens..."

Why did the Suns have to win? I want to get the NBA out of my mind as soon as possible because the inevitable is happening soon enough, and I hate showing any hope in a team that usually doesn't show much hope in itself. This can only end in heartache for me if this thing goes 7.

Well they have two more games at home, if anyone can come back...it's them. But I agree..it's over.
Since I didn't watch yesterday, I found out today that Nash had his nose broken. Jesus...this guy is a beast like no other. I wonder what his numbers will be in Game 4? And despite me not liking Fisher, the nose was completely unintentional, so no ill feelings towards him. Why did LeBron win the MVP again?

Another amazing game tonight....that I didn't watch. I expect the Lakers to take Game 5 easily, but if they don't and end up losing...then the Finals are going to be a sweep for the Celtics.

Don't expect the Lakers to win easily. Every game has been a shootout, as neither team can defend the other. It's now down to a 3 game series, so absolutely anything could happen.

and phoenix couldnt miss a shot last night. WTF?! channing frye?! go back to U of A. every fucking shot was dropping. and although there was a free throw disparity, i wont blame the Laker loss on that. (thats right, i said Laker loss... not Suns win)

Oh Jesus...you're one of THOSE fans? Maybe you should write for ESPN.
Magic win Game 5, not that it matters at this point. However, if they win the next game, they're going to win the series.

nah, im not that type of fan. i was just ranting since im a laker fan in the middle of Sun country, and everyone out here HATES the lakers.
so, once the suns are out, they automatically root for the team opposite the lakers, and that can get annoying at times.
i was impressed by the suns. they were able to stop the lakers at home. they defended their home court. just like the lakers. now the 2 teams are tied, and no one is better than the other. we'll see what happens w/the next game and see what happens w/this best of 3 left.

I think it is going to end like this
Celtics over Magic 4-2
Lakers over Suns 4-3

I don't know, after last night's game the Celtics look like crap. And they're beat to hell. I like the Magic's chances a lot.
I think both series go to a Game 7.

This is my problem with the Suns, they only come alive when they HAVE to. If they played a full 48 tonight, they could've won, but they didn't. I believe the series is over.

u could say the same about the lakers or most any other team.
at any rate, this game was frustrating to watch, but im glad the lakers pulled the win somehow. i knew the play was gonna be kobe taking the last shot, but i wasnt sure who would get the putback. and im surprised artest got it in there. whew

...I have no problem with anyone else on the Lakers (except maybe Luke Walton)...but fuck Artest. Fuck that piece of shit. He's the main reason why I would hate to see the Lakers win another championship.

I like how the NBA refs actively try to keep the best teams out of the championship and fail. That technical on Perkins in Game 5 was meant to destroy the Celtics. It was meant to crush their spirits and give Orlando a chance to force a Game 7. Problem was, the call was bullshit and everyone knew it. And instead it energized the Celtics to destroy Orlando in Game 6.
Once the Celts were in, you didn't see any bullshit calls against the Lakers, because Celtics/Lakers is money in the bank and Stern knows it.

Might be money for a lot of other people, but not me. I've seen it and heard about it way too many fucking times. And I can understand if you're a fan of either team, but if you're not...it's fucking boring. I've seen Kobe be Kobe so many times in the Finals, and I saw the Celtics win it a couple years ago, only this time, they added a bunch of other guys to the team that piss me off. This series is going to do nothing for me, because I've seen all these guys before and there's nothing that will delight me unless a mad brawl breaks out with Artest and everyone gets suspended and the reserves are made to play the next 3-6 games. That would be worth watching.

Luke Walton should be brought before the Massachusetts State Supreme Court for high treason. Luckily for him, we don't have the death penalty.
