Pfft...Furby. Real men played with Tamagotchi. |
I played with both.
My friends and I had some of the first Furby's, and we played with them a lot. I also had a Poo-chi (a robotic dog with a bone) and tried to get it to interact with the Furby. Didn't work.

I had a few of the small plastic ones that came in a McDonald's Happy Meal (or was it Burger King?), and I also won one in one of those toy grabbing machines. That's the only thing I've ever won from one of those, and I remember it smelled like ass for some reason. After we de-smellified it, we had it for a few years before we sold it in a garage sale. Or maybe we didn't, we might still have it, I don't remember, it was nine years ago!

I remember these; I was so excited that I got one of these weird Furby things that my parents said were ridiculously expensive, and when I got one with my Happy Meal I discovered that they didn't talk. All they really did was move their feet via a button in the back. Come to think of it, this probably explains my utter hatred of all things Furby.

Was that the dog that had blue ears? *looks it up*
Oh yeah, I had all those damn things. I had the dog, and a cat. I think I even had a bird at one point. Then my uncle got me one of those Techno dogs and I put pokemon stickers all over it.

I'm glad nowadays that I never had one. A friend had one. It bit my finger. I don't know much else.

I love this video. I find it hilarious how the Furby says "Yummm" when the guy sticks the drill into its mouth.
