Anyone here collect the SOTA Street Fighter figures?
I have wanted to but I have had a hell of a time tracking them down, and as well doing so without having to try to order them online. Also, does anyone have them, would love to see pics of what you got.

You're talking about the SOTA action figure series with the "arcade style" casing right? They're tough to find without looking online as they're all discontinued, but some toy/hobby stores still carry them, and usually for pretty cheap (ranges from $8.99 - $14.99). I only bothered to pick up Chun li and Sakura, but if you're serioues about picking these up, send an e-mail to the guy at Figter's Generation:

All of the series 1 stuff is hard to come by (i.e. Chun Li, Ken, Ryu), but the others aren't too tough to find. Good luck.

I will check them out, really any of the SOTA series of them, I also would love some of the Capcom Vs. SNK figures, but I am thinking they might be even harder to find. Hopefully can dig up a few. You have any pics of either Chun Li or Sakura, of yours that is Smurfsrdead.

Edit: I would prefer Series 1 figures but I feel I may be lucky to get what I can

The Capcom vs SNK stuff is generally a bit harder to find, but to be honest from what I've seen, they aren't as high quality as the regular Street Fighter line. The paint jobs on most of the CvsS figures are kinda wonky, but if you're still determined, the double pack of Mai Shiranui vs Chun li is still relatively easy to find.

I'm lazy to take pictures of my figures, but I didn't remove them from the box since I liked the packaging, so they more or less look like these:

Sakura: http://www.fightersgeneration.com/shop/sota-sakura-o.jpg

Chun li: http://www.fightersgeneration.com/shop/chunli-sotavariant.jpg
(this one is a teal-ish variant, while mine has the original azure-blue outfit we're all used to).

You migh want to check out the "sota" section at bigbadtoystore.com: http://www.bigbadtoystore.com/bbts/menu.aspx?menu=145&company=52
They have some series 3 and 4 figures, but if anything send them an e-mail as they'll sometimes come across some random old-stock items. Their prices are generally fair (but not all the time!)

Good luck in your search.
