It makes me wonder where the country would be if it hadn't happened.

The Iraqi war never would have happened, and thus, our standing in the eyes of the rest of the world wouldn't be so tarnished as it is today.

It also makes you wonder what George Bush's presidency would have been like. If not for this collasal blunder that was the Iraq war, he would have had more time and resources to focus here at home. Perhaps he would have been a great domestic president? Perhaps not. In any case, he will be forever known as the "War on Terrorism" president. We'll never know what else he could have been.

The sad truth is, 9/11 has been the defining moment of this millenium thus far.....not just for the US, but for the entire world.
