It actually sounds and looks a lot better than it is. I remember watching it for a while, then losing interest. But the dunking can be fun to watch. But after about the 5th or 6th time they come down the court and take a jumpshot instead of dunking, I start to wish I was watching real basketball.

I believe so. It was during the 9/11 slash Star Trek: The Next Generation marathon. I know for a fact that it was still TNN when the TNG marathon was on, but I remember Slamball was on there too.

You're right. I looked it up. It started in 2002 while the network was still "The New TNN". It didn't change to Spike TV until early 2003. So it started on TNN and ended on Spike.
