I went to check the wikipedia entry on this site... and it seems to not exist anymore. It was almost like I was drowning and I reached my hand for Jesus, but he turned and walked away. How can such a world exist?!

Then I say we should collaborate on making a page for it. I believe there are enough people on this page willing to contribute. We would just have to organize what we're going to do. I'm all in if others are too.

Indeed welcome, NakedStu (Hulkster) and yes, I believe we should organize an attempt to get this site up on Wikipedia once again. During this week I'll try to organize some thoughts on how it should be structured. Once that's agreed upon, we assign parts and BAM!... We shall find glory once again.

I'll attempt to use my magic powers to construct a format by which we will post the information. Once I finish this template, it will be ratified/modified by all who are part of this project. Then parts will be assigned and done on an individual basis. I suppose I'm the leader then, and I'll also do any necessary editing. Okay. I actually had some time to sit at the computer here last night and ponder on the organization of the Wiki-conversion. After 30 minutes of heated contemplation, I realized that there couldn't be that much organization. Here's what I'm thinking:

I know all this time has not amounted to much, but I've been really busy with a local LAN place and my band.

I would say that 2 people should take the conspectus and one person each should take the other categories. There should be sufficient material for each grouping. Post here indicating which category with which you would like to help.

Before going to work on this, I'll post again defining who is where and probably assign some kind of helpers since a significant amount of people seem interested in this project. After the text is all formulated, I'll edit it and have Syd and any other senior members give their word on it, in terms of betterment and greenlighting.

Once that's all passed, those which generated the information for each category shall post such on the Wikipedia site... and hopefully, it'll stick. If anyone has any other ideas, post them here or let me know through other means.

Only two people have answered my previous post on specifics, so I guess nothing can be done. We need a good number of people to generate and input the information so the page has a higher possibility of staying active due to numerous sources. I'd do it myself if it weren't for that reason, since low contributors seemed to be the main downfall of the first attempt. Speak up others soon or at least let me know if I'm shooting in the dark.
