How much extra time and footage was wasted getting Sammy not to laugh after every line in that movie? Over/under at 5,096,509 hours.

Hey now, be fair. Samuel L. Jackson is a distinguished actor. He wouldn't have accepted the role without reading the screenplay thoroughly, to be certain that the dialogue matched his caliber.

Anyhoo, it was just a link to one of the several sites that reported how Mace Windu signed on for "Snakes" without reading the script -- just the title.

BTW, "Snakes on a Plane" footage = oddly similar to the rough cut footage. I think they should sue... and lose as the movie was made before the parody. LOVE THE AIR SUPPORT SNAKE!

I hope that one eye assassin is in it.

Read this article. Now. I nearly wet myself upon reading this. And if you haven't heard the spoof audio trailer in question, find it.

The audio bit uses a Jackson sound-alike shouting, "I want these mother------- snakes off the mother------- plane!" Soon, the growing legion of fans added their voices as they demanded that that phrase also appear in the movie.

Apparently, the studio got the hint. When Ellis assembled Jackson and others for the recent shoot, the filmmakers added more gore, more death, more nudity, more snakes and more death scenes. And they shot a scene where Jackson does utter the line that fans have demanded.
