By all means, do it. Battletoads kicks ass and it'll definitely score you some hits.
I will do it eventually. I've got like 50 ideas idea right now and 12 unfinished articles, so I really need to get caught up. I've also been working 50+ hour weeks all summer which has severely cut into my time and desire to write.

Yeah, eventually I plan to have a write up on every game I have...I dunno if there that funny though, I'm going alphabetically and so far I guess all my least favorite games start with A or B. But I like doing it, people should go to my forum too! Were talking about microwaving stuff!

A review doesn't have to be funny to draw people in. People like funny, but people also like reviews that are informative, interesting, or otherwise quirky.
You probably should have waited a bit before starting a forum. You really need to build up a consistent reader base before you start a forum. I waited about 10 months from site launch to open my forums, and ideally, I should have waited a little longer. In the first three months of the forums being open, I only had 27 members join, hardly a success.
The success of your site's forums is content-driven. The more content you have, the more likely it is that people will find your site and the more likely it is that people will like it enough to join the forums.

Whoops. Good idea. The people I have on there right now are actual friends and stuff. I just wanted to get everything set up at once I guess. I had some trouble getting PHPbb to work because of Godaddy.

One of my friends is a big porn guy, big like nearly 1gb of pictures, 60gb of movies big, probably more. Anyhow, I guess he downloaded one, and we were all at his house playing N64 I think, and he yells out PORNS DONE. Everyone but me and another dude ran to the comp to watch this newly acquired treasure, and then I got bored and walked over (not a big porn guy), and right as I walked over the pornw ent horribly wrong. The guy had apparently shot his DNA in there. But thats not all. He then proceeded to perform a mad dash home base style slide underneath and catch it all on his face while smiling. Everyone nearly hurled, the movie was deleted, and I think I went home early.
