Valdronius - While I agree with you about the caps, I'll add that to the forum rules. But outside of that, I don't think mcdusher has done anything wrong. I don't agree with everything he has to say, but unless he resorts to name-calling or cussing other forum members out, I have no intention on modding him.

mcdusher - I think you rely too much on alternative media for your information. The fact is that no one is telling you the whole truth. Not the mainstream media, not conservative pundits, and certainly not left wing political blogs. None of them are intentionally trying to mislead you, but they all have ideologies that breed biases. And it happens that you are wrong. Branches of the SS were largely involved with the persecution of Jews, but that was the sole purpose of the SS.

Most notably, there was the Waffen-SS which was basically a second German army. They were fighting units and they served in battle. Military service under the Nazi regime was not considered dishonorable to most Germans. Many Germans who did not support Hitler's Final Solution still supported the war because the Treaty of Versailles had crippled their economy. There is even a German museum built in honor of Erwin Rommel, who is considered one of the greatest German generals of all time. He was a master of strategy and he won many battles for Nazi Germany. He was also involved in a fail plot to assassinate Hitler, because he disagreed with Hitler's vision of an Aryan world.

Oh, and as it turns out, Gustav Schwarzenegger was a SOLDIER.
