Dear Marvel Animation,
As I write this, I watch the two-part Canadian premiere of your latest series, Avengers Assemble. While not a bad series by any means, I don't see why it couldn't have waited a few years. Just a season ago, the team's awesome previous series, Earth's Mightiest Heroes!, came to a premature end with an epic showdown against Galactus, seemingly forgetting about a number of unresolved plot threads, foremost among them being the presence of Sertur. Why couldn't he have been the Season 2 final boss and Galactus left for the end of the third? Were you really in that big of a hurry to end that series and start this one? Was it not bad enough that you just ended The Spectacular Spider-Man Animated Series and then started Ultimate Spider-Man a couple of years later? What is it with you guys and this habit?
On behalf of all fans of your prematurely ended shows, I implore you to take a long, hard look at yourselves. I fear the trend this practice may start.
Sincerely, jprime.
