Does anyone recall if they ever did a Ted Bundy joke on the show? I don't remember one, but they must have. It was right there.

Bud gave himself a second chance to be Cool but Bud failed and Bud took over Buds body?
During the episode Bud locked himself in the basement after dissapointment af failing to get some. Bud is confronted wit himself after building it. Buds other self decides to take over his body. While this is going on Bud looks as if is aflicted with Multiple Personality disorder.
Another episode the Bundys went on vacation and there was a serial killer on the lose who just happens to be the towns hero.
Another episode Al decided to put on a new leaf and start wearing fruit of ballons and being nice to fat women. During this time Al under went a type of personality metamorphsis that shows on the outside.
Also earlier some people who watched married with children though the Bundys was refering to Ted Bundy family or a documentary about Ted Bundy.

I loved that show. It inspired me to put my hand down my pants whenever I watch TV. I don't recall a Ted Bundy joke. However, I have a friend who looks like Richard Ramirez.

There was at least one time where Al called one of his buddies (don't remember the name) and said, "Hi XXXX, it's Al Bundy." [pause] "Yeah, XXXX. TED Bundy." Been trying to find a video clip/script for years but to no avail.

This sentence is amazing. I hate that I missed the RegalSin era. I would have had so much fun.

I have no idea what you just said, but it definately had nothing to do with murderer Ted Bundy. |
He was referring to the episode where Bud is sick of being a loser, so he hears a voice that tells him "If you build it, they will come" or something like that. It turns out, Bud has a cool alter ego, and he tries to teach Bud how to get a girl. But you're right, I'm pretty sure there wasn't a Ted Bundy reference in that episode. The other episode he was referring to was from Season 2, when they go to Dumpwater, Florida, which had a serial killer who kills the hotel guests every 5 years, I think. It turns out he was the man who met Andy Griffith. I'm pretty sure there was a Ted Bundy reference, if I remember correctly. I just can't remember which episode. I may be mistaken, but I'm pretty sure the Bundy's were named after King Kong Bundy, who actually made an appearance on the show as Peg's Uncle Irwin and in another episode where Bud becomes a wrestler so he can join No Ma'am.
