If I had the money, I would buy the records for these just to hang the covers up on my wall. (The first three, especially.)
Motorhead - Another Perfect Day
Virgin Black - Requiem Mezzo Forte
Pink Floyd - Dark Side of the Moon
Metallica - Master of Puppets
Fleshcrawl - Soulskinner
The Angelic Process - Weighing Souls With Sand
Pantera - Great Southern Trendkill
Megadeth - Peace Sells...But Who's Buying
Demons & Wizards
Balero - One Planet Short of the Sun
Pink Floyd - Wish You Were Here
Testament - Souls of Black
Black Sabbath - Sabbath Bloody Sabbath

Etch I adore the Angelic Process and adore you for liking them.
I'll have to go through my record collection tomorrow and see if there's any I missed, but these are the first that come to mind.
Chelsea Wolfe - Apokalypsis
Animal Collective - Merriweather Post Pavilion
Preslav Literary School - La Réflexion Du Tir
Young Marble Giants - Colossal Youth
Benjamin Dauer - Burning of Wine
The Raveonettes - Chain Gang of Love
Still Corners - Creatures of an Hour
And my absolute favorite album cover ever!!!
Zach Hill - Face Tat

For you quality freaks, Album Art Exchange is a great place to find high fidelity album covers.
Enough with being a bot, though.

Nice thread. Well i here are some of my favorites.
Elephant by the White Stripes
It's not only one of the best rock albums i have ever heard, looking at it makes my feel like i'm looking at some kind of psychological puzzle.
Angles by the Strokes
It's kinda like an Escher painting. I like that.
Pink Floyd Greatest Hits (or whats it called) by ...yeah, Pink Floyd of course
Not a big Pink Floyd fan but i have a postcard of this cover hanging in my room. It's just kinda artsy... but with bare ass. I guess that's all i need.
Pinkerton by Weezer
It's just relaxing to look at it. It's also a classic japanese painting. Always liked stuff like that.
Born to Die by Lana Del Rey
One of the best new Album covers in my oppinion. It's very esthetical and i like the symmetrie of the whole picture and the text. It kinda looks clean but not steril.
I'm glad that nobody picked a Beatles or Stones Album cover. They aren't as special as everyone is pretending.

damn! nice on the angelic process and chelsea wolfe in here... that gal's going places.
^these two were both painted by a dude called arik roper. he does the artwork for pretty much like 70% of all sludge metal acts, has a really cool painting style and a great way with depicting ugly-yet-badass characters.
badass-adorable? badass-adorable. fits the music on record perfectly.
this one's great too. pretty much tells you EXACTLY what the record sounds like.
