That Zombie Viper figure is badass. I might have to go pick one up.

He really is. I think he ships two per case so it's a little easier to find him than say, the equally awesome Techno Viper in the same wave. Hasbro has pretty much abandoned supporting the Joe line now though so look soon and often if you want to snag one.

What's the deal with those figures in the hazmat suits with the gasmasks on?

Ah, those are Cobra Hazard Vipers. They are ridiculously awesome and shipped a couple waves back so probably aren't on shelves now. I'll do a review on them soon as well.

I guess I will be looking for the Hazard Vipers online, then. They do look pretty awesome.

Distribution has been incredibly spotty over the last year or so and Cobra army builders sell the fastest, despite having higher per case ratios in most cases. Some people have never seen a Hazard Viper in the wild and the Zombie and Techno Vipers are joining him.

New review up! Avengers movie toy line offering, Stark Tech Captain America Assault Armor!
http://zaraksbarracks.blogspot.com/2012/05/stark-tech-captain-america-assault.html
Does Captain America really need a giant suit of robot armor? Maybe, maybe not, but he sure looks awesome piloting it!
Also, how do you guys (all two of you reading this) feel about my choices in reviews? Am I offering an interesting enough variety, or do you want me to really mix it up? I only ask because I noticed my last two posts have been Marvel related and Captain America in specific.

I think you should mix it up a bit more. I really enjoy reading about the Lego stuff but I am also interested in more obscure items, even older stuff that you may have had since you were a child.
On a side note, I went to my local Walmart, Target and Kmart today and they have really shitty selections when it comes to pretty much any action figure or Lego related stuff. It was very disappointing. The local Toy r Us is equally shitty. I hate having to drive for 40 minutes to find a decent store to find anything cool.

Something from my childhood eh? Alright, I think I can do that. It's gonna take time though as I sold off pretty much everything I had as a kid. But I have an idea.

I know I haven't written anything in awhile, but today I give you Kenner's Lava Planet Predator in all his Cherry Jolly Rancher goodness!
http://zaraksbarracks.blogspot.com/2012/05/lava-planet-predator.html
I have a LOT more stuff lined up for the near future, including some figures from the line that was successful enough to create a spin-off in the Predator line to begin with!

That is one awesome figure. Seeing the sick Alien figures on the back of that card makes me want to search ebay and amazon for them.

Yeah Kenner's Aliens line was really amazing and they cranked out a really high number of figures considering the line only ran for about four years. I have another figure that arrived in the same package yet to review plus I'll definitely be hunting down some more of my old favorites like the Queen for the future.

The Ghost of Lobster Johnson is pretty damn sweet. I like the packaging as well.

What're your thoughts on Drift from Transformer Generations (or was it Universe?)?
