Honestly, I think the single is kind of weak. And pretty much every news article talking about them are saying it's just a song they used to play live back in 1977 and not new material, but whatever. It's new Van Halen, it's not awful and that will make some people very happy.

I heard the "new" single the other day and was not impressed. It's not terrible, but also not great. The fact that David Lee Roth is back with them is promising though, as I was not a fan of the other lead singers that joined the band over the years.

Well... it sounds like Van Halen. It is just a terrible song.
I am interested to hear the rest of the album, but sad that this is one of the singles.

4. Van Halen is totally irrelevant in the 21st century. Their previous work ranges but a new album now? Why? It was never going to be good. The only solid Van Halen album was their first one.

The song is a 2/5 by classic Van Halen standards.
I'm still pumped for the new album though.

What did you guys think of It's About Time, the new song they recorded with Sammy back in 2004? I thought it was way better than this.
^ i liked it. I remember there being a few other tracks but they sucked.

Yeah, I got this album shortly after it was released and most of it is actually pretty damn good. I definitely recommend listening to their new album.

Ever since my college roommates took to waking me up at random times of the night by blaring "Panama" from a boom box three feet away from my head, I haven't been able to stand Van Halen. Just, at all. For the record, that boom box got thrown off of a three story balcony and only missed one roommate's car parked below because I was drunk when I did it.
