My crazy conservative mom loved Beavis & Butt-head. Hell, she watched the premiere of these new episodes. She is 61 years old. |
Is she crazy? That's the key descriptor there.

Well, she's definitely not sane. But what woman is?

Heh, I certainly enjoyed the randomness of it (even though I posted in general first).
Back to B&B, I cannot believe how much happiness I've gotten from this show's return. It's quite baffling to me. I guess them pointing out the stupidity on reality shows is just that damn satisfying to me.

I am also quite pleased with the return of this show. The comedy of their criticism on shows and videos they watch has definitely matured in a good way.

I'm thoroughly enjoying it as well. I think I'm enjoying it on a different level than when I was 13. Back then I laughed at the stuff they did and said, now I think I'm laughing at the reasoning behind it. I dunno, I can't really describe it.
In any case, I was afraid that the show's humor wouldn't have aged well, but it appears to be just as funny as before, just in a different way.

The Copy Machine episode last night was incredible, once again mainly fueled by the couch TV commentary. I had trouble breathing from laughing so hard.

apparently Madonna will be the half time show for the super bowl. i hope MTV has a new beavis & butthead show for halftime during the super bowl like they used to do back in the day.

That was the first episode I've watched since they came back. I laughed a LOT. Now I set it to DVR.

Other than the fact that Beavis sounds a little off (no biggie, probably just Mike Judge's age), I find absolutely nothing wrong with this.
I love it. I'm glad as hell it came back. It was sorely needed.

Not only is that not right, that's not even wrong. It's a meaningless statement. Saying something is "one molecule away" from plastic is like saying a farm is one letter away from a fart. Water is "one molecule away" from being explosive hydrogen gas. |
