Have any of the old VHS video games been re-released on DVD? They'd be a lot more fucking tolerable...

What about Laser Disc?

My biology teacher has two or three VHS games (well at least very reminiscent of VHS games, not sure if they are remakes) on Laser Disc, I've seen him play around with them at lunch sometimes, their names escape me though.

I know that they released a new iteration of Nightmare on DVD, but to be frank, those kinds of games aren't exactly a dime a dozen anymore Syd.

Who likes role-playing games? Me. Way too goddamn much.

This belongs in the "Video Games" forum, remember> Read the description. :p

"Scene it" exists, so these kind of games are still being made. But I don't think anyone has remade any of the older games. I wasn't aware they became popular enough to warrant it.

Actually, does Night Trap and Sewer Shark count? They were originally done on a tape...

They weren't actually released as VHS games though, were they? I know they were planned for several platforms before ending up on Sega CD. Where's greeneyedzeke when you need him!?

No, they were planned for a VHS-based video game system that got mothballed.

I think I still have California Games, Wayne's World and WrestleMania although most the actual game is missing. Maybe I can convert to dvd and turn it into a drinking game.

No, I don't think I will fuck Stummies.
