At my local toy/collectible/game retailer, I noticed a plush toy of Gizmo (from Gremlins, durr). I almost bought it, but decided to wait. After all, it seemed more like $4.95 cool than $9.95 cool (it was priced the latter).

A couple weeks later, I came back and saw it was gone. In its place was a singing version. I asked a helpful employee, and he directed me to the shelf on the other side of the aisle. It was indeed there...along with Gremlins action figures and a board game. Mr. Green

So, all this stuff was ten bucks. I'm wondering which I should get (if they're all still there when I get back).

Gizmo plush (about 3" tall)
Gizmo action figure (about 1 1/2" tall, hard plastic)
Stripe action figure (about 5" tall)
Mohawk* action figure (about 5.5" tall)
Poker Player** action figure (about 5" tall)
Singing Gizmo (about 5" tall, semi-soft) Actually, this one is 20 bucks.
WizKids "board game" (like Clix, only without the clicking, rotating bases)

So, which do you think I should spend my ca$h on?

*The main antagonist in Gremlins 2.
**One of the generic Gremlins in Dorry's Pub.

NECA, the company that owns Wizkids now, has a ton of licenses for different media properties, including some Twilight, I think. Chances are you'll be seeing more of their stuff out soon, I know they plan on doing a second set of gizmo action figures if the first sell well. I know some people who worked for Wizkids and they say NECA is so much better than Tops was with them.

Who likes role-playing games? Me. Way too goddamn much.

NECA is awesome. I have the Mohawk figure. And one of the 3" plushes. There are at least two variants, one with the Rambo bandana, one without. I have the one with. My sister has the normal one.

Also, I don't think I'd called Mohawk the main antagonist in Gremlins 2. If there was a main antagonist, it was Brain Gremlin. The plot wasn't really structured in a such a way as a main antagonist existed though.

I still want the Gizmo Furby just for the hell of it.

Agreed! Just wish it didn't look slightly deformed, though...

And Mohawk wasn't really the main antagonist, but I said that because he was almost exactly like Stripe from the first movie (who was).

The Gizmo plush is cool, but the hands, feet, ears and face are stiff plastic.
