Because I think it was a good idea and I request it, I DEMAND that it be added! 
In all seriousness, I think the forum is fine with the amount of emotes there are now. We don't need more pointless emotes. Sure, ones that pertain to classic pop culture and such are great and exceptions can be made, but personally, I'd PM Syd with suggestions rather than make a whole new topic. At the very least, there should be just one topic dedicated to smiley suggestions.
That's just me though
